Instructions to Install February 2018 Security Patch

Method 1: Flash Factory Image

1. Power down your Pixel/Nexus device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously to enter Bootloader Mode.
   
3. Connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable.
4. Download the factory image for your device.
5. Extract the downloaded .zip file.
6. Copy the extracted files to C:\adb, where all the ADB and Fastboot binaries are present.
7. Double-click on ‘flash-all.bat’ to install February 2018 security patch on Pixel/Nexus devices.
8. If you’re using macOS/Linux, open the Terminal and execute the following command:

   ./flash-all.sh

9. The script will automatically start the flashing process and install the factory image on your phone.
10. Once complete, your device will reboot automatically.
